Rick Crotts brings to the table 36 years of journalism experience. He is the Sunday editor at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Content Team manager for the Cox Media Group, overseeing 12 papers around the country.

Past positions at the AJC include Sunday sports section editor, presentation editor, art department manager and sports design desk manager.

A graduate of the University of Florida, Rick has held design leadership positions at the St. Petersburg Times, Orlando Sentinel, Detroit News and Sarasota Herald-Tribune (Fla.). He has received numerous SND awards for design excellence, as well as many individual state and national design honors.

In addition, Rick is also an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University where he teaches visual communications and writing courses, and advises the student newspaper The Sentinel. He has also taught design courses at the University of Georgia and Georgia State, and has consulted for Red & Black and The Signal.

Rick is married to Kathy Crotts and they have three children.
