Bob Stewart joined the Department of Communications and Media in 2017 as a part-time instructor of ORGC 4344 Training and Development. He is also Manager of Member Services in telecommunications with the National Exchange Carrier Association, where he has conducted training and given regional and national presentations for the past 17 years. Prior to his work in telecommunications, Bob was a mathematics and computer science teacher at the high school level in Tennessee, where he also served as the lead teacher for curriculum standards and assessment.
Bob has 10 years of experience teaching at the collegiate level prior to coming to Kennesaw State University. He was an adjunct instructor for the Quest Program, an organizational management bachelor’s degree program for Covenant College and Belhaven University. While there, he taught Managerial Communications, Organizational Behavior, Principles of Leadership, Human Resource Management, Managerial Ethics, and Entrepreneurship.
Academically, Bob received his M.A. in Leadership and Liberal Studies from Duquesne University. He received his B.S. in Mathematics with Secondary Education emphasis from Bryan College along with a Professional Teacher Licensure from the Tennessee Department of Education.
Bob has been married to his wife, Melissa, for 23 years. He also has two sons – Zac and Graham. Zac is doing a Global Year in Ireland for his first year out of high school, and Graham is just starting high school.
